Police warn ‘armed and dangerous’ Texas fugitive may be headed to Pueblo

Pueblo Police say a fugitive from Texas could be traveling to the steel city.

Edward Bennett, 49, was recently paroled after serving 25 years in a Texas prison.

Texas parole says Bennett has violated his parole and gone on the run. They say they believe he is trying to get to Colorado, possibly Pueblo.

Bennett has a full extradition warrant for his arrest out of Texas. Police say he is considered to be armed and dangerous and that he may be willing to harm law enforcement officers.

Anyone who sees Bennett is asked to call 9-1-1.
