Steel mill stacks light up for special exhibit in Pueblo

A rare sight happened in Pueblo Friday night to welcome in a new exhibit.

The steel mill stacks at Evraz lit up in honor of a traveling exhibit called “The Way We Worked.”

It was made by the Smithsonian, and it is being shown at the Steelworks Center of the West.

The exhibit takes people through 150 years of history of workers in the U.S.

Jim Wark, who lives in Pueblo, said walking through the exhibit is like a blast from the past.

“I was familiar with it all. It was like seeing it all over again. It was very good and something well worth for people to see it,” he said.

The exhibit will be on display until June 26.
