Rescued puppy gets new home hours after going up for adoption
Pueblo Animal Services says a puppy that had a rough start is now ready to start over with a new family.
PAS says Roo was only two months old when she was impounded by animal law enforcement at the end of March.
When she was brought into the shelter, Roo couldn’t stand or walk on her own, couldn’t feed herself and had very limited vision.
In the following weeks, with care from the veterinary team at PAS and a specialist at Powers Pet ER, Roo’s health improved.
Today, Roo is doing much better, although she may never fully regain all of her eyesight.
Roo went up for adoption Thursday afternoon, and was taken in by a new family on the same day.
