D-38 graduation ceremonies forced to move

Graduation ceremonies for the two high schools in Lewis-Palmer School District 38 will not be held at the Air Force Academy as originally planned.

Instead, the May 22 graduations will be held at the Broadmoor World Arena.

Increased security measures at all US military installations, including the Air Force Academy, prompted the change.

Lewis-Palmer High School seniors will graduate at 11 a.m. and Palmer Ridge High School seniors will graduate at 4 p.m.

There will be no seating restrictions and parking is free.

The arena is located at 3185 Venetucci Boulevard.
