Victim in deadly Highway 115 crash identified

A deadly crash closed Highway 115 in Fremont County Tuesday. It is now open.

The crash happened at mile marker 5, which is between Florence and Caon City.

The crash was reported at 2:45 p.m.

State patrol says John Stenson, 48, of Caon City was thrown from his car and died.

Robert Ricigliano, 62, and Barbara Ricigliano, 56, were in the other vehicle. They were taken to St. Thomas More Hospital with serious injuries. The Ricigliano’s are from Florence.

Investigators believe a lane violation led to the crash.

Drugs and alcohol are not believed to have been factors.
