Three arrested in Woodland Park burglary spree

Woodland Park Police say three people have been arrested in connection to several burglaries that happened last month.

Two businesses and 21 storage units were burglarized on the night of April 28 and the morning of April 29, according to police.

Police say Brandon Wilson, 19, and Corey Stevens, 22, were arrested in Manitou Springs on May 1 after allegedly trying to sell some stolen merchandise to a business.

Police say two search warrants were executed on a vehicle and a home on May 4, and that additional items that had been reported stolen were found. Police say James Hayes, 21, was also arrested in connection to the case following the warrant service.

Police are asking anyone who had items stolen from the storage units on Highway 67 and hasn’t yet reported the theft to police to give them a call at 719-687-9262.
