Car crashes into Colorado Springs house

springs family — dealing with boards covering their home.. after a car smashes into their living room… it all started around eleven last night on constitution and north academy.. that’s were a road rage incident happened.. then police were called to a home on essex lane.. just blocks away.. where the car slammed into a home.. krdo newschannel 13’s zach pagano shows us the damage. It was a scene I’ve never experience in my life, never. And i don’t want to see it again. an unwanted wake- up call in this colorado springs neighborhood. a car crashing into the front of this house. i heard the screeching of the tires coming around the corner and then it was like they gunned it. kimberly hilton lives across the street and called 9-1-1. The biggest crash i ever heard, i thought they hit our trucks out here, only to find out they hit the house. pieces of the car still remain in the yard today, as police try to piece together who is responsible for this hit and run. police say the driver was involved in a road rage incident before the crash less than a mile away. after hitting a tree and the house… two people inside the car ran away. i hope they’re caught and i hope they prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law and make an example out of them because nobody should have to do this, i don’t care where you live. the crash leaving some neighbors on edge. We all make mistakes. But you have to own up to them.
