Sheriff’s Office: Report of attempted kidnapping unfounded
The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office investigated a report of an attempted kidnapping in a neighborhood near Constitution and Marksheffel Wednesday.
Deputies were called to a home in the 2200 block of Streambank Drive on a report that a man tried to kidnap a 5-year-old boy.
The sheriff’s office says there is no evidence of an attempted kidnapping, but that the man involved did behave suspiciously.
The man was driving a blue truck with tinted windows and a hunting sticker on the back.
An investigation is ongoing.
