Police search for trio accused of stealing from murder/suicide victims’ home

Colorado Springs Police say they are searching for three people who broke into the home a couple who recently died.

Police received a report of a burglary in the 1300 block of Babcock Road on April 14, 2015.

The person who reported the burglary told police that the couple who lived in the home recently died in a murder/suicide and that someone broke in while it was still vacant.

Police say numerous items were stolen from the home.

Springs Police say arrest warrants have been issued for Cassandra Marshall, 23, Eugene Griffin, 39 and Jonathan Mazzella, 23. They face charges for burglary and providing false information to a pawn broker.

You’re asked to call 444-7000 or 719-634-STOP (7867) if you know where any of the suspects are.

Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call Detective Mark Garcia at 719-444-3121.
