Police: Shooting suspect faces attempted murder charges

Colorado Springs Police say they’ve made an arrest in a shooting that happened Thursday morning.

Officers were called to a gas station at the intersection of Austin Bluffs Pkwy. and Academy Blvd. at 8:06 a.m. on April 23, 2015.

Investigators say Rustin Sparks, 37, shot a man in the arm. Police say the men had previously fought.

Police say Sparks was arrested Thursday night. He faces charges for attempted murder and possession of a weapon by a previous offender.
