Colorado Springs man cited for ‘killing computer’

Colorado Springs Police say a man’s frustration with his computer boiled over Monday evening (4/20/15).

Police were called to a report of shots fired in an alley in the 2200 block of W. Colorado Ave. at 6:55 p.m.

Investigators say Lucas Hinch, 37, was fed up with fighting his computer for the last several months. He took the computer into the back alley and fired eight shots into the computer with a handgun.

Hinch was cited for discharging a firearm within city limits.
