Report of man showering in restaurant bathroom leads to identity theft arrest

Colorado Springs Police were called to investigate a report of a man showering in the bathroom of a northeast side restaurant Monday night (4/20/15).

The call came from the Village Inn in the 7300 block of Duryea Drive, near Powers and Woodmen.

A restaurant employee told police that the man tried to buy food with drugs.

The man, identified as Luke Thurman, was searched. Police say they found stolen id’s and credit cards on Thurman.

Thurman faces two felony charges. One for identity theft and the other for imitation controlled substances.

Police say Thurman also had a felony warrant for his arrest.
