Flight turns into six-hour nightmare

problems in colorado springs frustrated passengers stuck for hours. a united flight run by republic airlines was heading to portland, oregon from kansas city and was supposed to stop in denver. but it was diverted to colorado springs because of the weather. it’s not the end all be all. that this could last hour. that hour turned into six. passengers captured the ordeal on camera. those passengers were only given water and a few crackers until they were finally let off that plane. tonight, we’re looking into the policies regarding passengers stuck on planes. the airport says they could’ve left the plane at any time… but those on board say that wasn’t the case. Nats – Operations is required to formulate a plan to get people off the airplane, and they are sticking to that. that plan, not fast enough no fresh air… no air conditionin g… no food. passengers come close to a riot at one point. Nats – i will make a coup and we will go. instead of rioting… they recorded… and even the pilot admited, their treatment was wrong.
