Firefighters quickly contain grass fire in Pueblo

Firefighters in Pueblo battled a small grass fire in Pueblo Tuesday.

It burned less than an acre near Highway 50 and Troy Avenue around 5 p.m. Tuesday. It burned in a ravine south of the highway by Amarillo and 12th Street

Firefighters contained it within an hour, firefighters said. Crews are monitoring hot spots.

Firefighters are now investigating what caused the fire.
