Party Turns to Home Invasion on Southeast Side of Colorado Springs

Colorado Springs Police were called out to a home on the 4300 block of Conquista Drive (near S. Murray Blvd. and Airport Rd.) around 2:30 am Sunday morning (04/12/15), after a group of uninvited guests crashed a party.

Police say the homeowner was having a gathering when two uninvited carloads of people showed up.

The group was in the house for about 30 minutes, when a person pulled out a taser. The homeowner asked the person to put the taser away, and when he refused, the homeowner hit him with a bat.

The members of the uninvited group then pulled out their own baseball bats, and broke several windows in both the house and vehicles outside. They also assaulted several people.

Police say one of the victims was robbed as he was being assaulted.

All the suspects left before officers arrived.

Police did not report any serious injuries or arrests.
