Car flips over after crashing through parking lot fence

A driver was taken to the hospital after police say she crashed her car through a fence at the Cavalry Worship Center in western Colorado Springs.

The car was parked in a parking lot that was elevated above the ground. The car flipped over onto its roof after it went through the fence.

Firefighters were able to cut the driver out of the car. They say she was wearing a seat belt at the time. She was taken to the hospital.

Investigators say that drugs and alcohol were not involved in the crash. They say the driver believed that she was in reverse, but was mistaken.

The car has been towed.
