Firefighters battle two separate fires in Fremont County

Fremont County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating two different fires Monday night.

The sheriff’s office said a house possibly exploded happened in the 900 block of Canon Ridge Road in Caon City, deputies said.

It later turned out to be an ATV that started on fire.

Meanwhile, deputies also said crews are battled a house fire in the Williamsburg area on North Iron Horse Road. That is just west of Florence.

The sheriff’s office said the homeowner was home at the time and escaped with her three dogs. The house is a total loss.

Firefighters are now investigating what caused the fire. But deputies said nothing suspicious has been discovered.

No one was hurt in either fire.
