Two adults and two children taken to hospital after car crash in Colorado Springs

A wreck on Dublin Blvd. and Tutt Blvd. has sent four people to the hospital, including one child ejected from one of the cars.

Police at the scene tell KRDO NewsChannel 13 that the child was six years old and is currently in stable condition.

The collision happened after a truck that was traveling eastbound and ran a red light.

Four people were transported to Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs, two adults and two children.

Colorado Springs Police do not believe drugs, alcohol, or speed was a factor in the crash. Police do believe the driver of truck was distracted by something.

The driver of truck could face charges of careless driving causing injury and running the red light.

That intersection has re-opened.
