Woman accused of stabbing boyfriend with kitchen knife arrested

Colorado Springs Police say a woman who stabbed her boyfriend and accidentally hit him with her car was arrested early Tuesday morning.

The incident happened Monday afternoon in the 400 block of E. Willamette Ave.

Police said Faith Grimes, 23, stabbed her boyfriend in both legs with a kitchen knife during an argument. They say she then threw an unknown glass object at him, hitting him in the face.

Police say Grimes grabbed her boyfriend’s wallet and then left. They say he chased after her, and that she backed into him so hard that it knocked him off his feet. On Monday, investigators said that they did not think that Grimes hit her boyfriend with the car on purpose.

The boyfriend was taken to Memorial Hospital. He is expected to be okay.

No picture of Grimes is currently available.
