Reports: Man pleads guilty to 46 counts in Lookout Mountain crime spree

A Denver-area man pleaded guilty to 46 counts in connection to a two hour long crime spree and police pursuit on Lookout Mountain, KMGH reported Tuesday.

Police said the July 23 crime spree began when Christopher Sullivan, 37, and a 17-year-old fled a traffic stop. Over the next two hours, police say they hijacked a car, stole a pickup truck and crashed through a closed garage door in a stolen SUV.

The chase ended when a deputy and a passerby wrestled him to the ground on a highway.

The charges Sullivan pleaded guilty to include the following, according to KMGH:

Aggravated robbery Motor vehicle theft Assault Menacing with a deadly weapon Burglary Identity theft Criminal mischief Criminal impersonation Possession of a controlled substance Possession of a weapon by a previous offender Resisting arrest Obstruction of a peace officer Contribution to delinquency of a minor

The station reported that Sullivan faces a mandatory sentence of 70 to 85 years in prison.
