Pair arrested following Pueblo County pursuit

The Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office says two people were arrested following a chase on Highway 50 Monday.

The sheriff’s office says a wanted man was spotted walking in the area of Highway 50 and 23rd Lane.

Deputies chased the man on foot until he jumped into the passenger seat of a car which then sped off.

Deputies chased the car to the area of 39th Lane where they performed a PIT maneuver.

The man and the woman who was driving the car were arrested. The man was taken to the hospital for treatment of a possible drug overdose.

The sheriff’s office says the man was wanted on a $10,000 felony drug warrant.
