Man sentenced for role in El Paso County murder

A man who pleaded guilty to second degree murder in 2014 has been sentenced to 40 years in prison.

Tommy Alan Wright was one of three people arrested in the 2013 murder of Miguel James Barajas, Jr.

Barajas was found shot to death at a home in the 100 block of Judson Street in Security-Widefield on February 13, 2013.

His stepdaughter, Dawn Richburg and his wife Sandra Barajas were also convicted of killing him.
