Rockslide Closes Highway Indefinitely

Four large boulders each the size of a small car crashed down on a highway west of Morrison on Sunday.

Department of Transportation spokeswoman Emily Wilfong says no cars were hit, but Highway 74 is blocked.

According to KMGH-TV, the slide was reported around 11 a.m. between Morrison and Kittredge.

The highway was closed indefinitely after rocks continued to fall from the hillside, and geologists and engineers have been called in to assess the damage.
