Firefighters Battle Propane Fire in Aurora
A propane tank fire at a construction site in Aurora has forced people in dozens of homes to evacuate.
Two 1,000-pound tanks caught fire Sunday morning.
According to KMGH-TV, the fire was declared under control several hours later, but crews were still allowing the gas to burn off. No injuries were reported.
The department says there is still risk of an explosion because the gas escaping into the air could ignite.
