Mumford & Sons brings festival to Salida
Mumford & Sons will headline two shows in Salida this summer as part of their global tour.
The Gentlemen of the Road Stopovers festival will be in Salida on August 21 and 22. The Flaming Lips, Dawes, Jenny Lewis and other bands will also take the stage.
The Denver Post reports the festival organizer is paying Salida about $10,000 to use the city’s Vandaveer Ranch property. The city will also get $1 for every ticket sold and about $63,000 to cover services such as police and code enforcement.
