Department of Revenue releases annual marijuana report
The Marijuana Enforcement Division of the Colorado Department of Revenue released its first annual update on marjiuana.
The report focused on the statistics for both licensed medical marijuana businesses and retail marijuana establishments in Colorado. It contains specific data related to the licensed retail and medical segments of the industry that includes marijuana plant and flower; infused products; mandatory testing results and due diligence investigations and administrative actions in Colorado.
“The Marijuana Enforcement Division feels that it is imperative to remain transparent on such a highly publicized issue in Colorado. It is the goal of MED to ensure that information of this nature is made available so that the public can fully understand the scope and nature of this newly regulated industry,” said Lewis Koski, Director of the Marijuana Enforcement Division.
