Two Pueblo organizations benefit from masquerade event
People dressed in Mardi Gras attire to benefit two groups in Pueblo that provide legal help.
The Mask-Or-Aid event happened at the Union Depot Friday night.
The Pueblo County Bar Association hosted the event.
The money raised is meant to help Colorado Legal Services’ Pro-Bono Project, which offers free legal services for as many low income people in Pueblo County as possible. CASA of Pueblo also benefits from the event, it helps represent abused or neglected children in court.
“With that population growing and with the economy, we have so many people who need legal aid,” Gail Rodosevich said. She is one of the organizers of the event.
KRDO NewsChannel 13’s James Jarman was there to host the event.
