8:14 p.m. – US 24 is closed between Colorado Springs and Limon, per cotrip.org.
7:09 p.m. – Fountain fire reports crashes on I-25 at the following mile markers: 119, 133, 134, 135.
7:06 p.m. – Fountain fire reports crash at Highway 16 and Highway 85.
7:00 p.m. -CDOT says I-70 is closed in both directions between MM 241-247 because of multiple accidents.
6:57 p.m. – Viewers report multiple stuck vehicles on NB powers near Dublin. Long delays.
6:18 p.m. – The Fountain Police Department is now on accident alert.
6:11 p.m. – Christian Science Church, Rustic Hills Baptist Church cancel services tomorrow.
6:01 P.M. – Tri-Lakes YMCA is closed.
5:59 p.m. – State Patrol Advice: If you slide off and get stuck stay with your vehicle and use your cell phone to call for help. Do not get out and walk in this weather.
5:55 p.m. – Austin Bluffs Parkway is closed between Nevada Ave. and Union Blvd. because of icy roads and crashes.
5:41 p.m. – The wind has arrived in downtown Colorado Springs. Wind/snow combination is reducing visibility.
5:23 p.m. – CDOT Encourages Drivers to Stay Off Roads Due to Heavy Snowfall and Windy Conditions Throughout the Evening.
5:22 p.m. – Several reports of vis 1/4 mile or less in Colo Sprgs area. Snowfall rates of 1.5″/hr observed – via The National Weather Service.
5:12 p.m. – HAM RADIO reports indicate snowfall rates of 1″ per hour in Pikes Peak region. – via The National Weather Service
4:59 p.m. – The National Weather Services warns roads will flash freeze into a sheet of ice tonight in Colorado Springs.
4:58 p.m. – Scanner traffic indicates an increase in the number of accidents in Colorado Springs. CSPD is on accident alert. Heavy snow is reducing visibility and making roads slick.
4:50 p.m. – Westbound I-70 is closed at MM 259 (Morrison) due to accidents.
