A Pueblo quartet serenades people with love songs

A Pueblo quartet surprised people with songs and flowers for Valentine’s Day.

This is the second year the River Blend Quartet performed around Pueblo for the holiday.

The group went to homes, businesses and even gave a free performance on the Arkansas Riverwalk.

John Chase is a member of the quartet. He said he looks forward to this holiday every year to make people smile.

“Part of it is just to spread the joy, as well as spreading the wonder of barbershop music which most of us grew up on,” he said.

Jana Hart hired the quartet for her valentine, her mom.

“I thought this would be perfect to have something where people are showing her attention and telling her that she is valuable,” she said.

The quarter has done more than 20 performances on Valentine’s Day.
