Brothers arrested in Pueblo attempted murder

Two brothers are facing attempted murder charges in Pueblo.

Police say they monitored a home in the 1100 block of West 16th Street for several hours before making the arrest on Wednesday morning. The brothers were found hiding in a closet.

Michael Sandoval, 20, and Stone Sandoval, 18, were wanted in connection with a December 3rd shooting in the 1600 block of West 13th Street.

The brothers are accused of shooting and killing a dog before firing shots into a home.

The Sandovals each had an arrest warrant for attempted homicide with a bond of $250,000. Michael Sandoval also had an additional warrant for failure to appear-trespass.

The investigation is ongoing.
