What are your chances of winning the Powerball?

Think you don’t have a good chance of winning the Powerball? The Colorado Lottery says you do in this state and offers the following information.

The Powerball jackpot is at $450 million for Wednesday’s drawing. That is the fifth-largest jackpot in U.S. history.

The stores with the most big wins in recent years are all King Soopers.

Colorado has only had two Powerball jackpot winners. Last year, a $90 million winning ticket was bought at the Kum-and-Go in Rifle. The other big winner was bought at a Safeway in Westminster back in 2007.

The lottery says about 80 percent of the tickets bought in Colorado are Quick Picks.

The Powerball drawing consists of five white balls and one red Powerball. In 10 years, the top five numbers that won millions of dollars for thousands of people. The most frequently drawn Powerball number for the past 10 years is 20. It is followed by 37, 2, 31 and 35.

As for those white balls, the most popular is number 42. It is closely followed by 16, 35, 26 and 19.
