Vandals target UCCS academic office building twice in as many weeks

The UCCS Police Department says someone broke windows at the academic office building two Monday nights in a row.

The first incident happened on the night of February 2. UCCS Police Chief Brian McPike says eight or nine windows were broken.

McPike says five windows were broken during the second incident last night.

The windows are double paned, and McPike says only the outside panes were broken. He says there is evidence that the vandals used a BB gun to inflict the damage.

A message was sent to the campus community asking for tips.
