Man robbed after agreeing to give woman a ride

Pueblo Police say a man in his 70s was robbed after agreeing to give a woman a ride from a gas station to a nearby church.

The crime happened on February 2, 2015.

Police believe two men and a woman who were caught on surveillance video walking into the gas station are behind the robbery.

The men later left in a green sedan that was parked at the pumps. The car in question is circled in red in the surveillance pictures that are attached to this story.

Police say the woman stayed behind and asked the man, who was also parked at the gas pumps, to give her a ride to a church. The man agreed and took the woman to the church.

Police say that when the pair arrived at the church, the woman got out of the truck and a man who was armed with a gun walked up and robbed the good samaritan. The robber took the man’s money and his keys, leaving him stranded.

Police are looking for three people, ages 20 to 25, in connection to this crime. The woman had long hair and a tattoo on her chest. The robber had a shaved haircut and tattoos on his face.

Anyone with information is asked to call Pueblo Crime Stoppers at 719-542-7867.
