Call center plans to cut 251 Pueblo workers by spring
Citing “unforeseen business circumstances”, iQor says it will lay off more than 250 people at its Pueblo call center by March.
iQor, 317 N. Main Street, was formerly known as RMS, according to the Pueblo Chieftain.
The paper reports that iQor purchased RMS in 2010. The call center employed 500 people at the time of the sale and added 250 additional workers shortly after, according to the Chieftain.
In a letter to the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment, iQor says it anticipates the layoffs will be permanent.
