Fatal helicopter crash in northern Colorado
The Daily Camera reports a helicopter crash in northern Colorado was fatal.
The newspaper quoted Mountain View Fire Rescue spokeswoman Amy Tallent as saying the crash caused multiple deaths, but declining to be more specific.
The helicopter crashed just before noon near the Erie airport.
Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Allen Kenitzer said in an email that according to preliminary information, the helicopter was carrying two people when it crashed during a training flight. He referred further questions about the occupants to local authorities.
Both the FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating.
