Army vet from Woodland Park wins silver at Winter X Games

An army veteran from Woodland Park won his second X Games silver during Thursday’s competition in Aspen.

Brandon Adam lost his legs in Iraq in 2007 when he hit a roadside bomb.

Since then, Adam has been training at Copper Mountain to compete in the X Games.

He won silver in 2011 and again yesterday in the Mono Skier X competition.

Chris Devlin-Young of Campton, N.H. took the gold in Thursday’s competition.
