Man faces charges in deadly wrong way crash on Highway 50

The Colorado State Patrol says a man will face several charges, including vehicular homicide, for a deadly crash that happened in Pueblo West on December 7. The crash happened at around 6 p.m. near the Purcell Blvd. intersection.

Troopers said William Moore, 54, of Pueblo was driving west in the eastbound lanes of Highway 50 with his headlights turned off when his pickup truck slammed head-on into a sedan.

The driver of the sedan, Zachry Becicka, 23, of Pueblo West, was killed.

Moore was arrested on January 5, 2015. He was booked into the Pueblo County jail on $100,000 bond.

State Patrol said in December that alcohol was suspected as a factor in the crash.
