Where to recycle your cut Christmas tree

If you need to get rid of that cut Christmas tree, why not recycle it?

Several locations open on January 3rd in Colorado Springs and Pueblo.

In Colorado Springs, you can drop off your trees at seven locations January 3rd and 4th and January 10th and 11th from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Click here for a list of locations.

There is a $5 suggested minimum fee which goes to support community youth sports programs.

Trees will be ground into mulch and given away free at Rocky Top Resources, 1755 E. Las Vegas.

In Pueblo, you can drop off your cut Christmas for free January 3rd through January 17th. You can drop them off at Vision Recycled Aggregate, 195 Vision Lane, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

Free chips/mulch will be available after 12 p.m. on Monday, January 19th on a first come, first served basis.
