Pedestrian killed in accident at Powers and Dublin

The northbound lanes of N. Powers Blvd were closed after Colorado Springs Police were called to the scene of a fatal accident involving a pedestrian at the intersection of N. Powers Blvd. and Dublin Blvd.

Investigators say the pedestrian was crossing the street against the red light shortly after 11:30 Saturday night. They were struck and killed by an on-coming vehicle. The driver of the vehicle remained on scene to assist investigators, and has not been charged.

No information on the victim has been released.

The northbound lanes of N. Powers Blvd. was reopened early Sunday morning.
