Wind chill warning issued for much of eastern Colorado

Wind chill warnings and advisories have been issued for Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.

The windchill warning covers most of eastern Colorado and includes El Paso County and Colorado Springs. The wind chill is expected to dip to between – 20F and – 30F in these areas.

A wind chill advisory has been issued for the foothill locations, Pueblo, eastern Las Animas and Baca County. The advisory area will likely experience wind chill values between – 15F and – 25F.

Frost bite will occur in less than 30 minutes in these conditions.
