Water main break in Colorado Springs floods street

Colorado Springs Utilities and police are investigating a water main break Wednesday night.

It happened around 9 p.m. near South Carefree Circle and Valencia Circle, utilities said. That is just east of North Academy Boulevard.

Police are there blocking off streets. CSU said crews were checking out a different water main break in the city’s west side, and will head there after.
