Woman faces arrest, charges in double shooting

Colorado Springs police said a domestic dispute led to a shooting that sent a man and woman to a hospital just before noon Saturday.

Officers arrived at a home in the 4600 block of Spacewalk Way and said they found a neighbor administering first aid to at least one of the victims.

Police said they plan to arrest Jonna Mushovic, 41, and seek a charge of first-degree assault, as soon as she recovers from her injuries.

The name of the male victim was not released and police didn’t explain his relationship to Mushovic. However, neighbors said she’s his wife.

Police said Mushovic also was being sought in Washington, D.C., on a felony warrant for failing to appear in court on a drug possession charge.

Investigators spent several hours going through the house for evidence. A section of the street was closed until late Saturday night.
