Arctic Air Invasion

A significant dip in the jet stream has allowed for Arctic Canadian air to drop south into the United States.

This frigid air mass will begin knocking on Colorado’s door early Monday morning, just as your heading out to work.

Temperature will fall off the charts on Monday as this air mass invades, snow flurries will also move across the state.

Very little accumulation is expected likely under an inch for the plains.

If you do plan to travel in the elements make sure to dress appropriately and take an emergency kit with you.

Any extended time outdoors on Monday or Tuesday could be fatal if not properly prepared.
