Kids in Pueblo experiment the eye

Kids in Pueblo had a unique opportunity to learn about the eye Saturday.

Nearly 30 kids showed up for the Eyes Have It event at the Steelworks of the West museum.

Kids with their parents dissected cow eyeballs to learn about optical illusions and vision.

Mario Kaufmann was one of the participants. He said the experiment made him nervous.

“I was thinking just hopefully I can keep my breakfast down and try to breathe,” he said.

The event was part of the museum’s Free Science Saturday workshop.
