Colorado Springs Police arrested two men that had been missing in Texas since Monday.

Trent Michael Cook faces first degree felony theft charges of more than $200,000. He and another man, whose identity police have not yet revealed, are being held in Colorado Springs.

The investigation began Monday, in Amarillo, TX. Police found an unattended armored truck still running. The driver, Trent Michael Cook, and its contents were missing.

On Tuesday, Amarillo police issued a search warrant for Cook. Their investigation led them to Colorado Springs.

Colorado Springs Police began searching for Cook and another man Tuesday night. They found the men Wednesday. The first man was found in the area near Powers Boulevard and Carefree Circle. That led them to Cook, who was at the Days Inn on South Circle Drive.

Police recovered multiple firearms and evidence they said will help Amarillo police. They believe the men had been working together since the beginning and planned on living in Colorado Springs.

Police expect the men to be taken to Amarillo next week.
