CSPD officer credited with saving woman’s life
A Colorado Springs woman is alive, thanks to the quick response and actions from a Colorado Springs police officer.
Officer Christopher Frabbiele was called to a home on Fossil Drive on Monday (12/21) night. A 50 year old woman was not responsive, not breathing, had no pulse and was turning blue.
Officer Frabbiele immediately began CPR, administering chest compressions while the woman’s husband provided breaths to the woman. The woman regained consciousness and Officer Frabbiele was able to find a pulse. Medical personnel arrived and took her to the hospital.
Medical personnel from CSFD said the officer’s actions were significant in reviving her in a timely manner and likely saved her life.
