A Pueblo shop ramps up production of championship ThunderWolves attire

It’s a busy Sunday for workers at The Imprinted Sportswear Shop after the CSU-Pueblo ThunderWolves won the NCAA Division II National Football Championship.

When the football team lifted the national title in Saturday night’s victory, that’s when the rush started to get national championship gear ready for Monday morning.

“It has been busy,” The Imprinted Sportswear Shop owner Randy Anderson said.

Since the victory was memorable, the gear has been in high demand.

“I received texts from people I didn’t know asking when the shirts are coming out,” Anderson said.

The machine he is using makes eight shirts a second. Crews have been ramping up production of the gear for fans like Gordon Cossar because they can’t wait to have it.

“I’m excited to get in that new gear so my family and I can show our support and solidarity to the team,” Cossar said.

Anderson hopes to create more CSU-Pueblo championship attire.

“I want to make a back-to-back title shirt,” he said.

But he said nothing will replace creating the first set of fan wear for this championship team.

Anderson said he will have more than 500 T-shirts, along with long sleeve T-shirts, sweatshirts, and embroidered caps at 9 a.m. Monday at the Spirit Store on North Elizabeth.
