Fans show their support as the ThunderWolves compete for national title

Hundreds of fans rallied together to show their support for the CSU-Pueblo ThunderWolves football team Wednesday.

The team will be trying to win its first national title on Saturday in Kansas City.

The Thunder Bowl at CSU-Pueblo was rumbling as fans were howling and cheering for the players before the team went on a plane to Kansas City.

Mark Rickman is going to Kansas City to support the team. He said regardless if the team wins or loses, the ThunderWolves have made him proud this season.

“It’s amazing, it is a young program, these young men have worked very hard and these coaches have worked very hard and they represent Pueblo and Colorado,” he said.

The game is scheduled to started at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
