Sharp stakes buried in playground wood chips

Pueblo Police are warning parents to be vigilant after sharp wooden stakes were found buried in the playground wood chips at Mitchell Park.

Police say the stakes were strategically placed to the maximum amount of damage if someone had fallen on them. Graffiti was also found on the power boxes near the pool area.

Police do not know who is responsible for setting the booby trap.
