Group buys shoes for needy children in Pueblo
The holiday season can be hard on the wallet, but an organization in Pueblo wants to make it easier by buying shoes.
POSADA teamed up with Payless to buy needy children shoes.
This is the third year the group is doing this.
The store gave POSADA $20 vouchers to help kids in the organization and students at Carlisle Elementary School.
Thomas Fraga is a father of two boys. He said he is grateful for any help during the holidays.
“It’s great, it’s helpful, especially during a time when there is zero budget for Christmas gifts and shoes were out of the question,” he said.
More than 50 kids received shoes during the event.
